I was with a group on a escorted visit around the sanctuary on day it's normally closed.  The facility's directory has banded a lot of the prothos that nest in the park and recognizes the regular ones.  A scheduled two-hour walk turned into four.  I have shots of another male with two white bracelets, an unbanded female, and plenty of snakes and gators.

Here's the male's mate and their nestlings.  I had to overexpose a bit to get enough light out of that hole.

Same on the Atlantic side of Florida. Very chill even during nesting season.

I've been playing around with black and white a little bit, and sometimes they seem make the photos even better! Definitely not the photos you would want to post on ebird.
