I think they were having fun. After some dancing they flew off together somewhere more private I guess ?

The eye has it.  In reviewing the pics of the Bluebirds feeding the babies, I was amazed to notice the details visible in the eye. You can see the sun and the clouds covering it with mixed blue skies, the corner of the bird box roof, the outline of the back of my house, and even the camera tripod in his eye.

How about a female western tanager.  We don't usually see these  - they aren't as pretty as the males.

Kind of interesting that in most of nature, it's the males that are the more brightly colored but not with humans.

I'm hoping the report later in the day of only 3 cygnets was the observer didn't see them all.  I counted 6, but one was always hiding behind an adult.
