Share Your Best Photo of the Day

Message added by aveschapinas,

Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

I didn’t realize Henslow’s Sparrows made it that far north. I still need it for the ABA (48th top need). I hopefully I can pick it up in Florida this winter, however it’s unlikely.

Yes, they make it pretty far into the southeast part of the state, but are more uncommon further west for some reason. Good luck, these guys are tough to locate when they’re not singing.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure why. It just doesn't feel like a four.

It’s ‘cause of all the stuff in front of the bird.

Otherwise, sharpness is good, lighting is good, and interesting color is definitely NOT lacking. ?

Could I have avoided that by shooting from a higher angle?

That is true. On very noisy photos it does often produce a weird pattern in the background, they did just release a 'severe noise' mode which I haven't checked out yet. I'll experiment with some of my 10000 ISO photos from deep in the the jungle right now to see if there is any improvement.

@Connor Cochrane--I may have asked this of you before, but what lens do you use with your 7D for birds?
