Yes, they make it pretty far into the southeast part of the state, but are more uncommon further west for some reason. Good luck, these guys are tough to locate when they’re not singing.

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure why. It just doesn't feel like a four.

It’s ‘cause of all the stuff in front of the bird.

Otherwise, sharpness is good, lighting is good, and interesting color is definitely NOT lacking. ?

Maybe… but I like the eye level. That’s one of the most important things.

That is true. On very noisy photos it does often produce a weird pattern in the background, they did just release a 'severe noise' mode which I haven't checked out yet. I'll experiment with some of my 10000 ISO photos from deep in the the jungle right now to see if there is any improvement.

I use the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens.
