Tim Emmerzaal
Yesterday morning I got some pretty decent shots including this (young?) common yellowthroat. Love the colors of the moss/lichen matching the bird https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/364278871 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/364042771

MizKatie
It is so hot here in central Florida birds hide quite a bit. But, have a few to share. The Black Bellied Whistling ducks show up every fre days.

DLecy
I just saw the rest of the photos and was typing a response. It's gotta be COHU then. The inner primaries are waaay too wide to be an Archilochus hummingbird at any age.

Charlie Spencer
In the Lockwood Folly area, SE coastal NC. I heard Blue Jays and assorted other songbirds scream about something. After a few minutes of searching, I spotted this about 150 feet away and about 40 up. Based on a size estimate of 24 to 30 inches, I'm thinking female.
dragon49
I love the Anhinga's ability to head-swivel 180°. Certainly takes a lot less effort than having to re-orient on the stump to see the other side of the river.

Tim Emmerzaal
I'm actually starting to like the first picture the way it is looking around for some food. I'm also amazed that the second one is (relatively) sharp with a shutter speed of only 1/15th! (the camera wanted to have an ISO of 100..) https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/365049431 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/365049471
