Share Your Best Photo of the Day

I shoot now with a superzoom Nikon when I bird, because I want the crazy zoom reach. The quality is nowhere near the glass I used to bring along. On my trek to the beach yesterday, I finally got a picture with it that's not bad.

IMO, no it doesn't. You're only altering for brightness or maybe contrast. If you made the head redder or greened up the foliage that would be different. As a decidedly non-professional photographer, some of my pictures don't look that great out of the camera so I too adjust the lighting via Elements. Besides, it's not like you're submitting it to some contest. Keep doing what you're doing.
