I suggest putting photos on a separate line from any text with a full blank line separating text from photo and/or photo from text. Trying to put photos and text on the same line can cause the "program" to put the photo right in the middle of the text sometimes. 😉 When I needed to have something typed accurately, I told my secretary to do it. I can't to that now that I'm retired. But, I'll try leaving a space after text in the future, because the program does mangle text and pictures, and there doesn't seem to be any way to go back and fix it.

dragon49
Muscovies like to hang around the outdoor dining area of a local barbeque joint for obvious reasons. God, the duck on the left is HUGE!

I was able to get all 4 of the expected honeycreepers, although none of my pics are good. They move around quickly and were hard to catch in the open with decent light. Didn't help that we were there in the late morning, but at least I got to see them all. If only I could've gotten on one of the exclusive Waikamoi Preserve hikes for Maui Parrotbill and Akohekohe too.

When I went I was scheduled to be on one of those hikes, but it was canceled the day before we were supposed to go because of traffic when they were building the observatory on the top of Haleakala. Those would've been cool birds to see.

I’m looking more into those types of shots and those that show more habitat. That’s really cool. The only reason I give them fours is that the whole bird isn’t showing and/or the bird is usually small in the frame, but if it’s sharp I’ll give it a four. btw, your song sparrow photo on ebird is great!
