Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

You should probably still have a variety of warblers, depending where you are. Hooded and Canada breed in the area.

Thanks, I know. I just wanted all the migrants too, haha.

Never seen a hooded, but I have seen a Canada here!

here, from October.

Nice! Hoping to get one here in the summer. I know what you mean about the migrants...I missed spring migration last year, so especially looking forward to it this year.

I’m hoping for warblers, but there’s not gonna be as many as there would be in migration, right?

Check out eBird data for the county you'll be going for, and use the Targets function to see a list of species and their frequencies. Depending on your warbler list, you should be able to pick up a few, especially if you learn their songs beforehand!

I'll add the warbler song site that someone on here made (my mind is blanking on who to @)

Just out of curiosity, do you know which county you will be visiting? I have recently been informed that I will be visiting family in west-central NY (Rochester) in late April. Might be too early for many warbler migrants at that point though.

I’ll be starting in otsego county, but will then be going to Rockland county and Long Island, two area I’m familiar with. But not for birding.

@Aidan B did you get any good photos of the brambling? I can’t wait to see them! ( but not really).

I got a few decent photos of the Brambling, but it never came very close to me. I probably could of gotten better photos if I had stayed longer than the hour and a half I did, but I had an additional two hour drive to go see the longspurs.
