Hey I don't know who to tell this to, but one I came across is misidentified. Also some of them have multiple species in them.

That’s because it pulls fro Macaulay I believe. And yeah, the multiple species can make it tricky. Generally we all skip the chip notes too, unless they are distinct.

I love the colors of the Muscovy Ducks in the cooler months.  By August here in South Florida, the sun has bleached most of them to a dull and unappealing brown.  Look at the eye.  This one looks angry.  ?

I feel like they’re the easiest sparrow to get a good photo of, I think it’s because they aren’t that skittish. Anyone else feel that way?

At least here they’re very friendly. That sucks. How often do you get them by you? They’re everywhere in the winter  here, but none any other time of year.

Haha, I guess I don’t see them often enough to judge how friendly they are to be honest. We see them for a few months during migration, but that’s it. Usually the first sparrow to flush and fly another 20ft, though.

That’s too bad that you don’t get them commonly, they’re my favorite sparrow!

They’re a close second (right after ammodramus sparrows) when it comes to favorite! Here’s my best so far, having tons of them at this one park increased my chance of getting a satisfactory shot.

I think that’s better than any of mine! Super sharp, nice pose, good composition, and the lighting is just incredible! Exposure looks fine too.
