Share Your Best Photo of the Day

Message added by aveschapinas,

Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

American Robins have been passing through in large numbers for the past couple of weeks. This one along with many others were in our yard, both front and back. Once they are gone they are pretty much gone. Sibley's shows them as year-round in North Florida but they pop up rare on ebird in the summer. I have seen a couple in the summer but that is all. The Chipping Sparrows are regular visitors to our feeders all winter, starting mid-November.

Picked up the last of my recorders yesterday, meaning I'm finished collecting data for my master's! The icing on the cake was getting a great photograph of my study species!

I imbedded your photo from eBird into your post, because when you uploaded it directly here it lost a lot of quality, and appeared blurry.

If you don't like that I can undo it, and leave it the way it was...

Congrats on finishing up your research! Awesome shot of a Bachman's Sparrow. Are you going to continue on and get a PhD?
