Really happy with how this Sora turned out! Had to run back to my car to get my camera because it was still raining, but thankfully he came back out of the reeds after I got down on the path, sadly, as I would later discover, right into some goose excrement. Some tourist with a much more expensive camera than I incorrectly Identified this Wood duck as a Mandarin Duck.  The bad intel did have an unintended consequence though, as I excitedly stuck around an extra thirty minutes to get this good shot.  When I first noticed the bird, it was farther away and at times partially obscured:
