How do I get the sharpest version from my photos on my phone to whatbird/ebird? Both websites seem to slightly lessen IQ. The above photo is less sharp than the original as seen in my photos app.

I embed them from eBird, which seems to be considerably better than here.

I got it from a local camera store with a little bit of luck. I purchased it with the kit lens, as the waiting list for one from that shop was only 11 (compare to close to 50 for the body). 2 days after I placed my order I received a call that one just arrived in the shop and no one else in front of me picked up the phone, so I was able to skip the line and get it.

Sorry I forgot to respond earlier to the same question. I got mine from E-Infinity, a “gray market” seller that I had used in the past. Got here in 48 hours without a hitch. I would certainly recommend it over the infuriatingly sluggish Canon USA. For some it’s a risk, but I’ve really only heard and experienced positive things.
