Share Your Best Photo of the Day

Message added by aveschapinas,

Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

Nice! I’ll put some similar shots up soon. Guess I somehow missed running into you this morning out there.

I had to jam. I looked back across the lagoon and saw you and Mark and others. I saw you in the plowed fields to the south as well, but at quite a distance. Mark told me about your experience with the bird and that professional photographer.

Yeah, I've never seen someone that determined to get a good photo before.

Really great shots! I’d suggest not cutting off the tail in the second photo, if the whole tail was in the shot, I’d give it a five.

I didn't crop it out, never made it in the original photo. This bird was constantly shifting around and changing positions. I was already zoomed in and focused  so I had to take the opportunity of it being still, and looking my way.

Also it was not there but for a few seconds. The first shot posted was the last of four.
