I had a bit of a scare when I started going through today's photos on the computer and realized that the first few shots didn't look anywhere near as good as the last few shots I had reviewed on the camera. I thought I had totally botched the entire shoot until the fifth shot looked a little better. I had only made one minor exposure adjustment but that was about halfway through the shoot. Then it dawned on me, the first four shots were through my living room window before I ran outside for the rest of the shoot. Duh!!! One of those situations where it wouldn't matter if the entire shoot was through the window though, it still would have made the best of the day just because of the bird. Luckily I can do better than through the window shots.
