This mockingbird was one of my favorite birds today, it was chasing a Brown Thrasher around, and then it ate to many insects to count. Ratings appreciated.

Congrats! They’re pretty rare north of SLO County, right?

Yeah, but they've definetly been expanding the past few yers. They now have some small established populations in the South Bay, and are slowly making their way up even further north. I wouldn't be surprised if they become resident in 5-10 years.
