I totally know what you’re talking about… *looks at exposure slider in default photo editing application on phone, shrugs realizing messing with it will ruin the already bad photo, moves on*

Yeah, birds with big patches of black and white are really difficult. Ask me how I know.

I was photographing a hoodie about a month ago, in direct golden hour sunlight.

Most of the shots were recoverable though as I didn't mess up too badly. So I'm happy about that.

Very true. It's tough to find one that's less flighty and more accustomed to people, but I'm happy to say I do know of a place near me where such an individual exists.

That’s a lot better of a situation exposure wise than what I was in…it was dark and muddy, which meant that the blacks were so dark, and if I made it brighter, the whites would’ve been super blown out.
