Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

Welcome!!!This forum is for birding, not bird photography. While we do have some photography areas here, yiulll get better and more feedback if you post on a dedicated photography site. I like this one below. Post in the “nature photography critique” section.

Welcome to Whatbird, @Jill L. While this forum is not dedicated specifically to photo critiquing, there are members willing to offer opinions on a wide range of photography questions. In fact, @IKLland started one sub-forum that is devoted to providing feedback for improving photo editing skills. We might not be photography wizards but there's a lot of experienced, and inexperienced, photographers on this site that are willing to help out fellow bird photographers and share what we know. Don't be afraid to ask for opinions, there's a wealth of knowledge to be had here.

My thread was started simply because I wanted to know if my editing/post processing attempts were natural looking. I don’t believe we have a “photo critique” topic here.

My point was simply that we often discuss photography and offer advice when it's asked for. I just want @Jill L to know that her photos, or discussion about them, are welcome here even though we're not a dedicated photography site.

It’s cropped way too tightly for me, and I know you couldn’t help it, but the lack of being eye level makes a bad angle. High 3/low 4.
