I think youre right!!!!!

A Scott's Oriole would have the black going all the way down the back! This bird doesn't have that. @DLecy

That would be a pretty god bird right?

Good catch, it's an Audubon's with the yellow back. 

@TexasCobra This should be reported to eBird as an Audubon's ASAP, this is an awesome find!

I have explained before that I am not a qualified birder.  I am a wildlife photographer.  I do enjoy our conversations and I hope to learn more from all of you.  I suppose I was misled by the Merlin app which did not flag the Audubon Oriole birdcall  (which species I have previously observed and photographed in my backyard) and yet Merlin targeted the birdcall of the Scott's Oriole.  Perhaps both species of Oriole were present at the time.  Thank you for your kind attention!
