Folks: it's not OK to take other people's photos to edit and re-post. Just like we don't correct each other's spelling and grammar, we don't take it upon ourselves to decide that someone's photo needs correction. In addition, as has been emphasized before, you need to respect copyright.

I think it's tongue-in-cheek. Clay-colored Sparrows are sometimes called Fancy Chipping Sparrows.

I STILL need them! Hopefully I’ll be able to pick them up this fall/winter. Not an easy bird in the SoCal area, there’s a few reliable sites in riverside county though. Along the coast and especially in OC, they’re quite rare.
