Osprey.  This is one of a pair that have a nest not far from here.  There is a couple of chicks in the nest.   Last week, when I was in that area, a bald eagle flew by.  The pair was on the nest and were very upset about that and let the eagle know he was not welcome

Just to clarify, the bird in the foreground is a dowticher, while the bird in the back is a Stilt Sandpiper.
