Thanks Jerry,  I have tried to move some to my yard (because I think they are cool) But they always die. So then I thought I'll just take some seeds from the seed pod. Just to find they are not seed pods at all....They are always empty. Now I know why.

The tips of the uninflated stems might have seeds.  Though I think the problem is getting the seeds after they're ripe but before they get lost in the soil.

@Chris Clem, get some of those little mesh bags with the pull strings on them. We us them for flowers to keep them pure.
