juvenile mockingbird? perhaps?

No. Myiarchus flycatchers that are in the U.S. that aren't rare are Ash-throated Flycatcher, Great Crested Flycatcher, Dusky-capped Flycatcher, and Brown-crested Flycatcher. Kingbirds are part of the Tyrannus genus.

Thank you. I do appreciate the effort from folks with complete knowledge. I looked through identification for the birds BirdNrd posted and it appears to me that the picture I posted is an ash throated flycatcher. Would I be pushing it to claim this identification?
