Which Vireo?

I thought Red-eyed, but the cadence and pitch seemed a little different, but it was difficult to hear the bird over the cacophony of background sounds from the cicadas, etc.

Have you tried Merlin? Sorry I can't help, I'm only learning to sound bird.

It’s not a Yellow-throated so yeah probably Red-eyed tough to hear though

I have been unimpressed thus far with the SoundID from Merlin, but I've only tried it this Summer since it just rolled out.  I do want to see how it performs in the Fall when the birds are more numerous, closer, and not so drowned out by insect noise.

Yeah, some other birders have been discussing about this there. From what I've heard it only works maybe 75 percent of the time. I was just wondering if you'd tried it.
