PaulK
There was a Willow Flycatcher in Vancouver today. Beat the record for the province by 20 days. What a strange year. https://ebird.org/checklist/S96858863

Kevin
Had a bunch of FOS bird today, the most exciting being a Brown Creeper. I can't say it was a 20 day record, but it was a 4 day one!

PaulK
I unsuccessfully chased the MacGillvray's Warbler that's been hanging around a specific spot, but saw my first Goldeneyes of the season so that was nice.
Peromyscus
On Wednesday afternoon I went to look for a late Connecticut Warbler near home, but it didn't show itself in the hour-plus that I was there. It sure was nice to be outside though. Edited November 6, 2021 by Peromyscus

Peromyscus
This morning I saw that my county had both a new Black Scoter, and the three Cattle Egrets from earlier in the week. They were only a few miles apart, and I saw both of them! Each species is quite rare in my county, were both county birds, and I also hadn't seen either one in a few years. It was a nice day, with sunshine and a light breeze, and it was warmer than earlier in the week.

Kadynn_H
FOS Smith Longspur! I tend to think of them as one of the last fall passerines to migrate through before winter birds start showing up. https://ebird.org/checklist/S97389757

Peromyscus
I caught up with an adult Ross's Goose about 15 miles from home this afternoon. It was in a small lake near a lot of houses and has been there off and on for a few days. The species is rare in Maryland, and I hadn't seen one in a few years.
