Mark F
This bird was feasting in my brother’s Ottawa backyard last winter. I’m pretty sure it’s one those two hawks, but not sure which. Thanks for your help! Mark

Melierax
Dark nape - Sharp-shinned. Do you have any more photos? Edited August 5, 2021 by Melierax 1

Looks too bulky, has a “capped” look (at least to me), legs seem pretty thick for an accipiter, and (bonus) it caught a pigeon. The Bird Nuts
Another for Cooper's. The dark gray on the nape is not extensive enough for a Sharpie and it's a very bulky Accipiter, as Sean mentioned. 4

I just see a bunch of scattered feathers, probably Columbidae. Are we debating the identification of the raptor's prey as well??

The relative color scheme of the feathers does seem to match Rock Dove, however.
