Quiscalus quiscula
First two photos I want to ask about the gender and age of these wood ducks, as the blue wing looks very shiny, like male, but overall appearance is brownish, like female. For the second two picture I want to confirm if all are wood ducks, as they were very far away across the pond. Taken in upstate New York, by a pond with some woods at the edges. Most likely wood ducks for all, as they are the only ducks I have seen at this location.
