I would call this a Cassin's Kingbird, except the tail and/or wing feathers have me befuddled. Now that I look, the tail is super weird! New feathers growing in. Notice that the new feathers growing in have broad white tips, which is diagnostic for Cassin's Kingbird (Western and Tropical have no white tips at the end of the tail feathers - Eastern Kingbird does have a horizontal white band across the tips of the tail feathers as well, but it looks totally different in gerenal! 4 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
