I was checking out the swallows for some time trying to get a decent pic and never noticed the distinctive pointed tail of a barn swallow. Not sure what else it could be besides a Tree.

I think a Tree would have a whiter belly. Also Barn Swallows often have their tails fanned out. I think I am seeing the distinctive white band. Wait for more input.

I think the second bird is a Swainson's Thrush, but the body doesn't fit the head...

edit: ...just noticed it's not a body...it's a tree branch...😅

another edit: now that the bird's body isn't large, I could see it as a Vireo.
