pointreyesbirder
Two photos of the same bird taken Sunday morning in central Indiana. A blackpoll? I think so but the eye is larger and the bird was slighter in build than expected. Just wanted to confirm with the experts. Thanks for the help. Quiscalus quiscula
Well, it's not a Tennessee Warbler, they don't have yellow feet. ?

This may not be the Whatplant forum but the plants that birds frequent for food is very much a topic worthy of the Whatbird forums. ?

JP48
Don't know much about plants, but is that a dogwood? Theoretically a big favorite among birds here in VT.

I just did an internet search tour of dogwoods, and realize how many types there are. I was referring to what I think is a grey dogwood shrub. which appears to have white berries. I actually have a few of these on a corner of my yard, and have occasionally seen birds eating those fruits.

I guess that's why I'm on a bird identification, instead of plant identification, forum. What I have in my yard is flowering dogwood.
