I have a few blurry side views. What specific features should I look for? Are brown eyes seen in both male & female immatures?

Are brown eyes seen in both male & female immatures? I was hoping someone with more experience would jump in as I've only seen a few young birds. What I was getting at was that an adult female would have more underside streaking/markings than a young bird. I suspect young birds both have a darker eye, so probably not possible to differentiate gender. You have now exhausted my limited knowledge 🙂.
