Kittipaws
S.WI, today. The woodpecker (I think?) flew over me into the tree, and I didn't have time to change my settings before it disappeared. It looked at least as big as a Hairy, probably bigger, but it just looked unlike the usual woodpeckers here, probably an immature something? That long white bar is definitely throwing me. Included are the original photos and the ones I lightroomed the heck out of. Is the flycatcher an Eastern Phoebe?

Kittipaws
Haha I considered Junco then only saw longish dark bill on a skinny bird with long wings. Ughh, how embarrassing ?. But that's why I stop here so often, thanks so much!
meghann
Aidan changed his answer after I saw it. I definitely agree with Sapsucker. Not as sure on the second bird. It sure has a phoebe-like posture.
Kittipaws
There actually were two juncos here today, and that brown on the back looks right. But yes, the posture threw me ?. Thanks again!

Birdbrain
I'm not an expert, but I've seen both dark eyed juncos and eastern phoebes and I'm 99.9 percent sure that's not a junco. The bird is not standing low to the ground like a sparrow and it has a phoebe-like crest. It just looks like a flycatcher. Also, phoebes bob their tails and this bird looks like it's in the act of doing that.
Aidan B
Look at the leg color on the second bird, they're pink. Phoebes have grayish black legs. It's a Junco. Edited October 1, 2021 by Aidan B

Charlie Spencer
That's also a junco's / seed-eater's bill, thicker at the base.

Kevin
I am not completely convinced. I see a Flycatcher's bill, nothing like a seed-eater. Also it appears to be black, which does not fit junco. Also are we sure the legs are pink? Could it be lighting?

I also see the pink legs and a thick bill, which appears black because of the resolution
