kikikopa
Greetings, I spotted this bird again today at my home in Uruguay and can't seem to identify it. It has a small dark brown body with some black spots. It's dominant feature is it's very long "V" shaped tail. It's tail has to be four to five times the length of it's body. When it flew, I could see the inside of the wings and they were rather wide for it's body size and was whitish with dark spots. I've seen it before but it's not the most common bird that lives in and around our house and I would sure love to know what it's name is. Thanks for you help, Chris
Connor Cochrane
Sounds like a Fork-tailed Flycatcher. That’s the only black and white bird in Uruguay that has such a long tail.
