Peromyscus
Slaty-backed Gull in Baltimore, MARYLAND https://ebird.org/checklist/S100909906 I'm hoping it sticks around to the weekend. There are no accepted records for Maryland (or DC, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia either as far as I know).

Maybe Code 5 Design should do a Slaty-backed Gull 2021-2022 t-shirt akin to their Steller's Sea-Eagle shirt (that has all the states and provinces listed).

Peromyscus
That waxwing report is amazing, considering that none have been reported this winter closer than lakeside Ohio and near Rochester, New York. It quietly snuck south. There appear to be no sightings accepted by the state records committee of this species. The photos are stunning. Yeah, and good on the homeowner for noticing and getting photos! Apparently it hasn't been seen again. Someone on Facebook said it was the third state record, but the last one was in 1975. There's a published record from 1967 from Fairfax County; I don't know off hand about the others.

Apparently there was one in the same spot in October, so some are speculating that it is the same one, and maybe just hasn't been re-found until now.

PaulK
Off-topic by the letter but not the spirit of the chat: there's a Glaucous-winged Gull in Norway right now. Unbelievable how far some of these birds fly out of range.
