Also, not nearly as rare, are 2 Anhingas in Caroline County Virginia (https://ebird.org/checklist/S112212828) apparently nesting. Lol no, I had no good reason to take my kid to stand in the rain and stare at trees with 30 other people today. If it's still there in a couple of days I'll try to get up there on a lunch break. They must have been assisted in getting there because this record makes absolutely no sense. I don't think any of the brown colored towhees have a single record outside of their expected range by more then a few tens of miles.
