Go get it!

It's over 3.5 hours away, one-way.  Never gone that far for a single bird.....or any amount of birds for that matter.

I don't think has been seen since Sunday either.

Smooth-billed Ani in South Padre Island, Cameron County, Texas, a state first! https://ebird.org/tx/checklist/S122263615. Seen through this morning.

Eurasian Marsh-Harrier in Morris County, New Jersey!! Possibly the bird found in Maine this past August? https://ebird.org/nj/checklist/S122138206. So far only eBirded there on the 9th, Wednesday. Too bad it's not there any more, it's really close to an interstate and no more than 4.5 hours drive for me. The only other records in eBird for North America are a long-staying bird in Bermuda in 2015 & 2016, and the 1994 Virginia bird.

Groove-billed Ani in Riverside County, California!!! I’m probably not going to be able to chase until a week and a half from now, so hopefully it’s sticks!

Hopefully it sticks for you. Palo is such a good place, probably one of the best spots in the state. Im sure you’ll get some other lifers if you go.

Very Skeptical. Appears to be ship-assisted or an escapee given location and the fact that it doesn't seem to be an invasion year for this species...at least not yet anyway...

Yeah. Unless its refound by a lot more people with excellend documentation and details, its not getting accepted by the CBRC.

New York state's first Limpkin is near ... Niagara Falls?! In/near Lewiston. Where predicted highs are going to be in the 30s, and an inch or two of snow could fall in the coming days.

It was captured in late afternoon, with a very large net, and will be evaluated then transported to its normal range.
