I try to be constantly “birding” in a sense. That’s how I got my lifer Eastern Kingbird. Was at a gathering at my grandmas place, I was looking out the windows and saw it perched. Super cool bird.

Do people keep them as pets, or could it be another bird that hitched a ride on a boat?
IKLland
29 minutes ago, Birds are cool said: Tundra-bean Goose in Los Angles County, Cali! @IKLland https://ebird.org/checklist/S130414488?view=photos Yeah, I saw the original posts about this bird on the listervs and eBird reports yesterday. It’s on private property, but there was access allowed this morning for a few lucky people who were nearby, and there’s going to be a public access chase on Friday, though I’m not sure if I can go. I have school, and it’s 3 1/2 hours one-way to the location.
