I was taking a picture of these branches and the bird got in the road! ?

I have that happen a lot. I just hate it when a bird photobombs a shot I'm taking of limbs, leaves, grass, cattails,..............etc!

I see a Osprey, and I think I see a Red-bellied Woodpecker. But I don't see a baby anything.

I don't see any other birds!  Just an Osprey.

Spoil sports.. lol. Ah well.. I probably should have done a proper search before embarassing myself.. Doesn't look like a red-bellied woodpecker either, but clearly I'm blind lol.

You have a long ways to go if you are going to beat some of the things I have done.

I'll second that. Once I thought a clump of mud was a sandpiper!

Still haven’t forgiven myself for this one... waited another 30 minutes for it to flap its wings again but never did. 90% of my camera roll looks like this ?

That hurts. Happens to me a lot in AZ heat.

This Sharp-Shinned Hawk (I believe a male) landed on my feeder pole.  I quickly grabbed my camera and squeezed off a couple of shots.  I'm sure you are thinking "not a terrible shot considering the rain, why post it on this thread?".

Well, when the Sharpie flew away and I took the camera away from my eye, I saw there was a Downy Woodpecker clinging to the other side of the same feeder pole about 3 inches below the electrical tape.  Probably about 1.5-2 feet away from the hawk.  In this pic, it looks like the Sharpie is staring right at it, although that could be an optical illusion caused by the 2 dimensional picture.

If I had noticed the Downy before I had grabbed my camera, I could have zoomed out and gotten a pic with both birds.  Now that would have been a good shot.

I am very mad at my computer. I was cropping this photo and the kinglet was in the center of the frame. Then when I saved the photo, it saved like this for no reason and I can't recover the original photo. It cropped out the legs and feet and I can't move it back to the middle of the frame without cropping heavily and ruining it further.

Were you using Windows Photo Gallery? If so, it has the option of reverting to the original.

Not sure what program I was using, but it came with the computer so it could be that one. How do you do that?

This is what it would look like if you are editing in Windows Photo Gallery. I circled the revert button. This only works if this is the program that you used to edit the pic when you made the mistake..
