This is what it would look like if you are editing in Windows Photo Gallery. I circled the revert button. This only works if this is the program that you used to edit the pic when you made the mistake..

Is that the standard program that opens when you open a photo? Because mine looks different and doesn't have that option. I also tried right-clicking the actual file and clicking "Restore to previous versions" and it said there were no previous versions, so I think it's a lost cause.

I am very mad at my computer. I was cropping this photo and the kinglet was in the center of the frame. Then when I saved the photo, it saved like this for no reason and I can't recover the original photo. It cropped out the legs and feet and I can't move it back to the middle of the frame without cropping heavily and ruining it further.

Have you tried looking in the folder where this photo is? If you accidently clicked Save instead of Save As then there should be an another folder inside the main folder...it should say ''Originals'' on it. Hope this helps. ?

If only this fish stopped flipping around it would have been more focusedA3D363BA-CA58-44CB-AEEB-853ED28CA386.thumb.jpeg.ecbcbffb8be2e18f782ba0da4acc50a2.jpeg

if only he did not need to warm up in the sun. It would have been better lighting because it is in focus.

if only he did not have to perch on a pole the same color as the tail....it would  stand out much more. And the pic is bad, too986F7378-317E-4608-9881-DC33FFDAA3F8.thumb.jpeg.d176f6c641ae394f409e64e79566376e.jpeg

This is the only picture of a Pacific Slope Flycatcher I have in focus. Sitting in the tree right in front of me, I knew exactly where it was but I couldn't find it with the viewfinder. I was so annoyed. (I had a baby writhing around in a bjorn who was officially done with birding so I couldn't linger.)
