Wow! I'm very very jealous! Scissor-tailed Flycatcher is at the top of my most wanted birds, and you get them in your yard!

I explained to a far more expert birder off the cusp on the American Flamingo chase last weekend that twitching was "basically an adult, real-life Pokemon game". 😀

In September 2019, I saw a Fork-tailed Flycatcher with a Western Kingbird at that exact spot.

I should get down there more often.  My home county, but such a loooong drive.

I've used that analogy before when explaining one of the things that pulled me into birding over the past year and half.
