Saul Panzer
There was a confirmed sighting at the location I took this picture in Duluth, MN today. I only got a quick look and a fuzzy pic before 6 unleashed dogs converged on the exact spot the bird was and scared it off. How does this look for a Lark Bunting? Lark Bunting Question by Fred Durkin, on Flickr This looks like a White-throated Sparrow, unfortunately. Lark Buntings have thicker bills, dark, crisp streaking on the breast and sides, a bold black stripe on the throat, and white edging on the wing coverts.
