Pro2typer
Hi Everyone, Saw this grebe today 11/3 at 12pm at the Nob Hill Pond in Redwood Shores CA. Eared or Horned? Thanks in advance! Bill
Trevor L.
Looks like an Eared Grebe to me. I would expect a Horned to be more sharply plumaged. The dusky neck, slightly 'upturned' bill, and lake of pale bill tip present in most Horned Grebes makes me lean Eared, as well.
