Super cool new feature, it's basically a compilation of checklists and media from a certain time period, in addition to tracking lifers and photo lifers. I made a few for fun just now. Thanksgiving: https://ebird.org/tripreport/5362 Spring Florida trip https://ebird.org/tripreport/5661 I see you went to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. What did you think of it? My husband I have been several times and love it. I only wish it was open more than Friday, Saturday, Sunday. That and there are few long points where there is no room to pullover and not impede traffic. We almost always start out counting Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets but start to get fed up about 3/4 of the way through the drive. There are just so many. For people like me with a bad back making impossible to hike long distances it is an awesome place to see some truly great birds without having to do much hiking. In other words great for disabled folks. Of course there is more where people can hike if they like also.

You drive between old rice impoundments. Clear sight lines with very few obscuring trees.

The sheer number of waterfowl/waterbirds was amazing, and most of it easy to view. Just get out of the car, or look from the window if you see something interesting. The only place I saw whistling ducks while I was down there as well. I just wish I had had more time there, understandably my family didn't want to mobilize early in the morning. So we were kinda rushed during the last 45 minutes or so. I'd definitely go again though if I visit that area in the future!

I'm lucky if I can fit in a couple of long weekends and one multi-day trip a year, and it's rare for any of them to center on birding. I can usually fit a few two- or three-hour sessions into a longer trip, but sometimes it just the area around the hotel or a waterfront restaurant. So it took less than 15 minutes to collect my trips. Edited December 4, 2021 by Charlie Spencer

I have seen them a couple of other places but not as reliably as this one. We have not been in a while so I want to get back soon.
Kevin
I made one for the big winter storm we had last Feb. All of it was in my home count, and a a lot of it at my house, but it was still some really good birding. https://ebird.org/tripreport/11820
Charlie Spencer
@Kevin, maybe pin this at the top of the 'Birding Trips' forum? @Birding Boy, it's your discussion; any objections? It can be used to consolidate a Big Day, or even a really good week of birding during migration.

I think I’m going to be using it during the CBC season, so I can just use accurate individual checklists instead of a big one for a certain area.

The improvement I'd like to see most to the mobile apps is the ability to specify a count by sex and age.

I finally compiled all my trips since I joined ebird. It was fun, I ended up with 15. I wish there was a way to share the page of trips, instead of just a link for individual ones. Charlie Spencer
64-species day in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, including a single-checklist personal best of 44 (including several Forster's Terns ). The group leader is still consolidating checklists but rough estimate is that the group had at least 80 species. Lifer Tundra Swans and Mottled Ducks bring me to 90 on the year. https://ebird.org/tripreport/37670 Edited February 12, 2022 by Charlie Spencer
