Shorebird Redux

Recommended Posts

Lexington County, central SC.  I've been sitting on these since Sept 2020.  Time to do something about them.

A farm pond near my house was lowered about 4.5 feet, exposing as much as 75 feet of lake bed.  This attracted a wider-than-usual range of waders and many shorebirds rarely seen in the immediate area.  I think each photo shows the same birds.  I think most of them are Least Sandpipers.

Thanks!
