Charlie Spencer
Lexington County, central SC. I've been sitting on these since Sept 2020. Time to do something about them. A farm pond near my house was lowered about 4.5 feet, exposing as much as 75 feet of lake bed. This attracted a wider-than-usual range of waders and many shorebirds rarely seen in the immediate area. I think each photo shows the same birds. I think most of them are Least Sandpipers. Thanks! 1. Pectoral in the background? 0 2. Pecs fore and aft? 3. Pec to the rear; what's foreground center? Least? Birding Boy
Yup, yup, and hard to tell but probably another Least given it appears to be similar in size to the others. 2
