Jim W
I took this picture on an alpine trail off of the Icefields Parkway in Alberta. I was surprised to discover Canadian ground squirrels sing opera. I've never seen a squirrel in the states singing, not even country. It was pretty windy out, but I could have sworn it was singing "O Sole Mio". 2

TexasCobra
When questioned about her willingness to confront and control the Australian giant steer named Knickershttps://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/nov/28/knickers-the-cow-why-australias-giant-steer-is-so-fascinatingLola quoted Georges Jacques Danton:“Il nous faut de l'audace, encore de l'audace, toujours de l'audace!"To which she appended, "Le bouvier des Flandres reste indomptable!"I detect a note of Texan bravado in the reply. TexasCobra
This con artist pretended to inspect my lighting fixtures and garage door openers for code violations. I suspect he was looking for warm, dry, and free accommodation for the night!

TexasCobra
I pusillanimously pursue your pardon if I post no reply to this provocative pic. My reply could provide that portion of the population which seeks to prohibit free speech in the interest of what it deems to be political correctness with an opportunity to disparage my perspicacity. I encourage you to read "Churchill: Walking with Destiny" by Andrew Roberts. It will provide you with an appreciation for the man, his rhetoric, his political acumen, his deep knowledge of history and his indomitable character in the face of constant criticism from adversaries domestic and foreign.
Cloebird
I’m at a loss for words for your observation. Nonetheless, I was intrigued. ?
TexasCobra
Churchill was never at a loss for words. He was also an adept at the use of alliteration. As Andrew Roberts pointed out in the biography, Churchill in his addresses to the House of Commons delighted in laying down four of a kind in order to conquer a full house.
