TexasCobra
Get a grip! This critter has been hanging head down over the door from my kitchen to the patio every evening for the past week. I suspect he's waiting to meet up with an edible moth. If he makes an Acapulco style cliff dive into my margarita he will suffer immediate execution by Ariat boot heel!!! . 1

BTW, if you live in Texas you must live near the coast, 'cause that critter looks to be an amphibian.

BTW, if you live in Texas you must live near the coast, 'cause that critter looks to be an amphibian. Nope, I live 22 miles north of San Antonio International Airport on the brow of a limestone hill that overlooks the Guadalupe River about two miles due north. We are surrounded by ranch land. This August and September have been two of the hottest and driest months recorded for this area in the past 100 years. Water restrictions at present do not permit us to use sprinkler systems and all my lawn grass appears to be dead. It crunches when you step on it. With the exception of spot application of fire ant and poison ivy killers, I have never used chemicals on the lawn and garden. I plant native species to nourish the hummingbirds and other critters. I do have a swimming pool. That may explain the presence of amphibians.
