Sugar Land
Could the left on the right be a greater Scaup? Taken today near Houston Thanks in advance
Sugar Land
here there is another picture. Compare the head width between the second bird from the left and the last on the right

Sugar Land
here is a picture of the same group taken three seconds before the last one I posted I do value your opinion and I appreciate your response. Do you think that the one on the right is a greater scaup?

Do you think that the one on the right is a greater scaup? Brainfart. Yeah, I think your right about the RNDU. I feel like the rightmost one might be Lesser but I'm not sure. In the 1st picture it looks like it has a slightly peaked head, instead of rounded like Greater.
Aidan B
All the males are Lesser, the nails on those birds are much to small for Greater. I do think that one of the females, (the middle bird in the first photo) is a Greater, but wait for more responses.
sfinmt
I think all Lessers. That middle bird in the first photo isn't "cheeky" enough for Greater - and in the last photo the same bird has a peaked head.

I do think the bird may have switched places with the other female in the last photo. I do think its likely Lesser though.
