 Awesome! I, trying for the flycatcher tomorrow morning! I’m going to the back bay after, did you need a scope there? Mine came today!

Did you get the flycatcher? I saw it was refound this morning.

The Baltimore Orioles were being amazingly cooperative this morning. I spent an hour and a half watching them. I think I got  better looks at them than I ever have of a Bullock's.

The back bay wasn’t as good as I expected , but it was still fun.

@Aidan B

i think you said today is your last day. What did you think of SoCal, especially Orange County? Did you have a good time?

I had a really really good time! There's so many birds down here in SoCal, and not just that ridiculously large number if rarities. There were a lot of bird here that I hardly ever see. For example, I see Allen's Hummingbirds just a handful of times a year, and I'd never seen a breeding plumaged Brown Pelican before this trip.id only seen Cassin's Kingbird one other time before this trip. Than there's all the introduced species, White-eyes and Whydahs, Munias and Parrots, that I'd almost never seen before.

Overall, this was a really great trip. I missed a few birds I would have liked, but that's birding!

Awesome! Allen’s hummingbirds are more common here than Anna’s! The Cassins kingbirds are really common too!

That's where I started, I got dropped off than picked up once I finished the trail.

@Aidan B very sorry to bring this back up, but I’m trying to make more sense of this. I understand the trail now, just, one thing. Did you get picked up at the same place you got dropped off? Because I didn’t go all the way to eastbluff drive, and 1.9 miles was my total. How did you not get to three miles if you came back to the same spot?

Basically, did you get picked up at the same spot you started?
