Charlie Spencer
Anyone want to take a shot at why these Green Herons are unconfirmed? There are multiple other sightings of GRHE at this location. I do notice the accepted ones are between April and September; maybe 21 March is too early for the filters? IKLland
Very confusing. Why don’t you ask your reviewer?

I did submit the question to eBird a few weeks ago but haven't heard from them yet.
Birding Boy
I have no idea why these aren’t confirmed. Were they rare when you submitted them? Maybe your reviewer just missed them or forgot to confirm them.

Peromyscus
Those are definitely Green Herons. I don't know what the reason is for non-acceptance.
chipperatl
My only guess is they flagged as rare for being early. Reviewer saw the pics were underexposed and skipped them due to being busy, and didn’t go back to them. 3
Charlie Spencer
Just for grins and giggles, I removed the 'Flyover ' breeding code. Let's see if that was it, although I don't think that's the issue. Maybe that change will force it up in the reviewer's queue.
Colton V
Sorry, Charlie, if you weren’t intending for other people to post theirs, but this Gray-headed Junco in expected range was confirmed for a while but then was unconfirmed. Other people have reported Gray-headed since and none were unconfirmed. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/349495481

I can't see anything obviously wrong. As you noted, others have Gray-headeds before and after yours. Maybe try changing the subspecies to the species, wait a couple of hours to see if that's acceptable, and then change it back?
Charlie Spencer
I found a contact for the local reviewer. "I checked your posting; Green Heron have been found in your area in the winter, though usually near Harbison Pond rather than Archers Lake (about half a mile as the heron flies - CAS)--your sighting is a week earlier than most early reports, which typically happen at the very end of March. I found the photos convincing--right shape, I can see the streaking on the throat and the large yellow feet." So it's accepted now.
