Sooooo jealous! Where’s the photos? No rush, lol.

Yeahhh they’re really not that good, I got one of its back and the other of its mostly obstructed backside, so definitely the definition of documentary shots. I’ll try to get them up today haha

You can take Gyrfalcon off your bucket list!

I’m at 161, but should be higher (Only at 37 if you remove Costa Rican birds). I actually went somewhere not within walking distance 2 weeks ago and missed like 8 waterfowl species that were reported before and after I was there. Nothing that I won’t see eventually, but still hurts.

Hoping to go out this weekend, and actually start putting in the effort to add species, but it has been very busy lately.

I'm at a pathetic for me of 159. We have really held back this year on bird outings. For few reasons saving up for a trip to the Dry Tortugas early summer, GAS PRICES, Hotel prices, for longer distant out of town trips, which have doubled or tripled in some cases (there have been a couple I have wanted to chase but just could not justify the expense). Also been busy with some sewing projects. Also saving up for when migration is in full swing.

My year list is up to 129 two of the latest being(neither near as good as Gyrfalcon) Chihuahuan Raven and Greater Roadrunner.

Both good birds! I've only seen one Chihuahuan Raven in far southeast Colorado and only a handful of Roadrunners.

I knew I wasn't getting out much this month, but as of yesterday I have only 6 lists for March.  Three from the backyard, two single-species Incidentals, and only one 'real' outing.  There's one 10-day stretch with no lists.  Too many other things demanded priority this month.

Now at 184 with the latest being VGSW and TRSW today. Hopefully I can hit 200 before my trip to NY this summer, where hopefully I can get to 230 or so, then by the years end 250.

Tree Swallow banding code is TRES, btw.
